Monday Sept 10th: After graduating from Loughborough Catering College in 1990, Jon spent his early years in large hotels in Croydon and Gloucestershire. He moved to Cumbria in 2003 working for the Frost-Penningtons at Muncaster Castle, where his passion for the food producers, produce and all things Cumbria and Its food began.
Seafood is his absolute passion and the West coast of Cumbria offers some of the best seafood for his creativity. His culinary style focuses on local produce and seasonality. In addition, teaching and mentoring young chefs of the future has become a huge part of what he does.
